modified L-sit -> MHT
modified L-sit -> maximum hold timeEquipment needed: two tables or chairs, stopwatch
Goal and measurementThe goal is to test the strength endurance of the postural muscles. The result you record is the time you held the correct position. If you have tested both variations, you can input data for both.
PositionSupport yourself with your forearms between two flat surfaces and raise your legs to make 90° angle with your core.
ProcedureEstablish with forearms pressed against two flat surfaces and begin the test when you lift your legs:
- knees bent (easy)
- straight legs (hard)
Keep your body at a right angle as long as possible. The test ends when your body changes angle or the legs bend during the straight leg test.
